Recovery Officer ( Loss on Sale)

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate with the Car Auction Team to gather information on auctioned vehicles, units sold, and follow-up status, and use the information to prepare case assignments for Outsource Agents (OAs).
• Prepare and analyze OA performance data and collection results to evaluate effectiveness before assigning new cases.
• Assign post-auction debt collection cases to OAs based on internal criteria and ensure all assignments are properly tracked.
• Follow up with OAs daily to ensure active and continuous collection efforts on assigned cases.
• Verify daily cash collections received by OAs and inform the Admin Team to proceed with the payment process.
• Prepare daily summaries of policy refunds (insurance cancellations) and vehicle sales. When a vehicle is sold, notify the Admin Team to record the final settlement.
• Coordinate with OAs regarding requests for additional debtor information, AL-AR document submissions, invoice preparation, and debt confirmation letters.
• Prepare daily and monthly operational reports.
• Manage the entire debt sale process from start to finish, including coordination with relevant departments and sourcing and inviting potential bidders to participate in debt auctions to achieve the Company’s sales targets.
• Perform other ad hoc duties as assigned by the Department Manager, Division Head, or Management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
• 2–5 years of experience in debt collection, debt management, car auction, asset management, or a related field.
• Experience in coordinating with Outsource Agents (OAs), collection agencies, or external business partners will be an advantage.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze collection performance and operational data.
• Good coordination, communication, and negotiation skills.
• Detail-oriented with strong follow-up and case management skills.
• Good command of Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Able to work under pressure, manage multiple tasks, and meet deadlines.
• Proactive, responsible, and able to work both independently and as part of a team.
